Return of the Goddess

Short film, 20 Mins.
2012
DVD (PAL, 16:9)
Titles: English, no subtitles

Introduction

On the outskirts of a ruined city a disillusioned young man is suddenly faced with a goddess (played by dancer Virpi Pahkinen). This is the start of a spiritual journey into the vastness of nature and into sacred works of art.
The goddess tells her tale of lost freedom, destruction and rebirth in a graceful dance. Life does not disappear, it constantly changes. Ultimately, do human beings destroy anything but themselves?
Return of the Goddess was filmed in Ukraine, the deserts of Utah and Arizona, and the temples of Tunisia and India.
Stunning visuals are accompanied by powerful music from Iranian-born singer Sussan Deyhim and composer Richard Horowitz.

Return of the Goddess is first part of Dance of Death trilogy of short films.

Liulia succeeds in capturing the sublime...a truly meditative experience...
Isabella Rothberg, HBL

Divine visions…Return of the Goddess is a creation of soul mates who examine deep tones of life.
