PERFORMANCES
Marita Liulia started her career in the theatre, collaborating from the beginning with choreographers, dancers, musicians, technicians, and other professionals. She also worked as a travelling journalist and photographer. Later, as a director of a multimedia team, she could benefit from those skills.
Around 2000, Liulia and her long time programmer Jacke Kastelli rediscovered stage multimedia. Liulia and Kastelli started to work with musician/composer Kimmo Pohjonen and choreographer/dancer Tero Saarinen creating visual combinations never seen on stage before.

The artist/programmer duo created Manipulator (2002) and Animator (2004) with Kimmo Pohjonen.
The first collaboration of Liulia, Kastelli and Saarinen is Hunt (2002), a solo dance performed by Saarinen himself to Stravinsky's stormy classic, The Rite of Spring. Hunt has become an acclaimed success among critics and audiences all over the world.
