I painted this work on a sad day to function as a source of light for myself. I dived into that yellow colour and let the light rinse away the pain. All that was left was pure gratitude.
Maalasin tämän surullisena päivänä valonlähteeksi itselleni. Sukelsin tuohon keltaiseen ja annoin sen valon pestä pois kivun. Jäljelle jäi puhdas kiitollisuus.
